Such a feast for the eyes! quaint, laid back and spectacular, a combination of everything. Calm Serene and pretty. The town and lake are magnificent. The best way to enjoy the lake is by boat. You can get a choice of single tickets or a centro lago ticket that gives a wonderful hop-on hop-off service to a number of the major locations in the central lake area. We rented a car and roam around menaggio for a day. What a MAGICAL PLACe! 

The best-kept secret in Italy’s famed lakes region

We rented a house in airBnb and also a car for a week. We visited MENAGGIO, BELLAGIO and VARENA. 

There are numerous options for moving around on the lake.And we crossed it by ferry. We visited a café for capuccino and restaurants for a plate of good fresh pasta for lunch –served at midday in Italy– while drinking in the natural grandeur of the lake and surrounding landscape.
