On our way to the Philippines, we decided to visit Beijing for 4 days. We stayed in Novotel and we did a lot of tours.
Our tour guide recommended a lot of places where to eat local chinese food. At first I was like, yeah I think itll be brilliant cause Chinese food is similar to what I usually eat in the Philippines. We went to this Hot Pot restau and I couldnt understand a thing cause they dont have a menu translated in english. So I chose by pointing the pictures. Whats more exciting is that they dont have spoon and fork. Anyway, we managed to eat all what we ordered cause fortunately the food was good. After the meal, we are used to having teas together so we ordered for two. When we asked for the bill, the tea was just as expensive as rest of the meal.
